Until I complete #1 on my To Do list, there’s no way I’m going to be able to buy any of these goodies:

Or this gorgeous Cinelli Gazzetta frame. Building a bike is also on my to do list. I would absolutely love to build a single speed bike (with a flip hub–coz maybe I’d wanna ride fixed one day?) with this frame! This frame however, is a wee bit out of my price range and with the components I want, it’ll leave an even bigger hole in the pockets. Some day…

In the mean time, I’ve also been looking at more affordable options. Mission Bicycles offers a frame and fork for a much more affordable price. Until the big bucks start rolling in, I’m considering a frame from them as an option.

I love this baby blue color and would like to build something similar to this (visually, mine would have different handle bars and perhaps black tires with the white deep v rims).

droplets & updates

Droplets from the weekend storm:

I was hoping that since I’m done with school, I’d be posting more regularly. However, I’ve actually been working on my portfolio, photographing all my favorite pieces from the past year and updating the current layout. In the meantime I’ve also managed to find a few new distractions.

This is my latest silkscreen of a sketch, doodle, drawing or whatever you want to call it, from last semester. I scanned it and vectorized it to clean up the lines and whatnot. Now that I have a bit more time on my hands, I plan to explore more with color and layering in screen printing. Stay tuned for prints.

I’ve also started a new endeavor with my buddy Eric concerning illustration and typography. New year, new projects. But more info on that later…
